he Music Makers are sponsored by Rockland County Government / Rockland County Office for the Aging and features seniors who volunteer their time to bring the joy of music all around the county!

Children ages 12 months and up are invited to sing and dance along with every toddler's favorite performer. Sing along with Kurt or maybe take the mic yourself!  Of course there are always the bubbles to pop!

Local History Librarian Joe Barbieri will go over the basics of the library’s Ancestry.com database. We’ll practice searching basic birth, marriage, and death records, and learn some helpful tips for your genealogy project along the way. 

Lego builders!  Bring your imagination and meet our building challenge! We supply the bricks and a new challenge at each session. 

Due to the popularity of these classes, they are limited to New City and West Nyack library card holders. The class will be chosen via a lotto.

Pick from an array of adult coloring pages to create a unique cover for a journal. 
 

Chapters Book Club discusses Instructions for a funeral: stories by David Means.

The Facts nonfiction book club discusses The World As it Is by Ben Rhodes.

Create a work of art inspired by a famous artist.

Learn how to craft a wonderful bar of soap! Please note that as soap takes time to cure, you will leave your soap behind and return to pick it up after one week. 

Come spend some time getting to know your neighbors while the little ones play and learn socialization skills! Parents are responsible for supervising their children.
