Calling all dirt lovers!! Join your neighbors and help create a pollinator area here at the New City Library. Over the next few weeks, we hope to start a garden where native pollinators can come to visit (mostly) native plants.

Join your neighbors for a cup of tea and light refreshments, served in the Little Tor Meeting Room. If the weather cooperates, you can enjoy them in the Park. If not, Little Tor will have tables and chairs available for use.

Calling all Pokemon enthusiasts! Bring your Pokemon cards, games, and devices! Come share your love of Pokemon with others and make some friends. This is an unstructured time for kids to play, trade, and do all things Pokemon.

Last chance to volunteer this summer.  Sign-ups for both Children's and Teens' events, programs and Summer Reading Club.

Celebrate Shark Week and make your own Shark cupcake.

Kids 7-12 years old are invited to a game of Chess.

 Chess boards and basic instruction will be provided.

Construct biodegradable pots for plants and starting seeds.  You can plant the whole pot in the ground, so no need to have special pots.

Let's celebrate Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles! After 38 years, Donatello, Raphael, Leonardo and Michaelangelo are still at the top of their game. Enjoy games, snacks, and crafts celebrating their continued popularity after all these years.

Work alone or bring your friends and make a castle out of cardboard boxes.  You have an hour to complete your castle. Prize for the best castle. Then have the fun of attacking all the castles with water balloons.
