Event Details

Math in Motion is an active, outdoor play program for both children entering kindergarten in 2022-2023 and their caregivers.  It consists of movement, games, and songs that will strengthen foundational math skills and concepts.  While children play, adults will get suggestions for infusing math-talk into home life.  Limited registrations are open to holders of New City or W. Nyack Library cards.  This six week program begins on Sept. 2 and ends on Oct. 14 (No class on 9/16).  Participants should attend each session as math concepts learned will be expanded upon each week.
