Event Details
The New York Genealogical & Biographical Society has recently published the massive Guide to the New York State Archives, which was designed specifically with genealogical researchers in mind. Local history librarian Joe Barbieri will go over the different record types held in the state archives and we’ll take a look at some of the special documents the book highlights.
This presentation will be in-person at the New City Library and also available online via Zoom. This program is done in conjunction with the Genealogical Society of Rockland County, non-members are always welcome to attend!
