Dance Workshop

Join choreographer and professor Dr. Debra Weiss  for two 1-hour dance workshops on the Cuban Mambo.  No partner is necessary, as the workshops will focus on a line dance version of the Mambo.  The workshop will include a warmup and cooldown.  No previous dance experience is necessary. Wear comfortable clothes and athletic shoes or sneakers to the workshops. 

Workshop participants are invited to perform the Mambo with members of the Debra Weiss Dance Company at 2pm August 21  at the library in its program celebrating Women's Equality Day.  The Mambo will be done in tribute to the late Chita Rivera, who originated the role of Anita in West Side Story on Broadway.
