The Ziegfeld Follies ran from 1907 to 1931. Florenz Ziegfeld glorified the American Girl and made her a symbol of the modern independent woman. Florence Ziegfeld was instrumental in bringing women to the center of society. The Ziegfeld Girl became an American Institution.
