Armand Guillaumin (1841-1927) often had to wait for vacation to pursue his art—he worked in a shop for ladies' lingerie, then was a clerk for a railroad, and the husband of a schoolteacher—but that changed after he won a big lottery prize in 1891.

Spend a relaxing Saturday afternoon painting this beach picture or paint your own thing.  Wear old clothes and cover your work surface, since acrylics can stain.  You can pick up your materials starting Wednesday afternoon, July 13.&nbsp

Children ages 2-5 with a New City or West Nyack Library card can join us for story time activities with friends.

Children in Kindergarten through 2nd grade are invited to join Mrs B and follow along with our book of the month as she reads aloud. We'll talk about the story, do a related craft, and have a light snack.

Tweens in 5th & 6th grade will meet to discuss the graphic novel, Meg, Jo, Beth, and Amy by Rey Terciero.   Copies of this title can be picked up at the circulation desk. 

Tweens, specifically, 9-13 years old can be dropped off for a craft activity.  Registration will be very limited, please be considerate to attend if you take one of the limited registration spots.  Other Tween opportunities will be avail

We will be discussing Good Eggs by Rebecca Hardiman.
