Gregory Peck looked like a movie star!  Tall, handsome, blessed with a resonant voice and piercing eyes, He was made for the big screen.  And he could act! From the 1940s through the 1960s, he was one of the most popular and critically acclaimed actors in Hollywood. His starring performance in “To Kill A Mockingbird” stands as one of the greatest and most memorable performances in the entire history of the movies.

But Gregory Peck was a star long before that memorable movie. He starred in romantic comedies, dramas, westerns, and thrillers.  Off screen, he was known as a warm-hearted and generous man who was widely respected.
