Join this virtual tour as we explore the Met's spectacular galleries of ancient Egyptian art covering over 3,000 years. We will visit one of the smallest pieces in the collection, Willian the Hippo, as well as the largest work of art in the entire museum- The Egyptian Temple of Dendur. We'll hear the story and see the pictures of how an authentic Egyptian temple made its way to New York City, as well as look up on the only image the Museum has of King Tut's face, and come face to face with the imposing Horemheb Portrayed as a Scribe.
