Show us your library card from New City or West Nyack and take home this shrub from the NY State Saratoga Tree Nursery.  Silky dogwood is a large to medium-sized native shrub with creamy white spring flowers , dark green foliage, and reddish stems and burgundy fall color.  Butterflies especially love the small clusters of white flowers.  One to a family.
