Join librarian Veronica Reynolds in making no-sew masks using this pattern from refashionista.net.  You'll need: an old t-shirt or other piece of cotton fabric, scissors, a ruler or measuring tape,  hair ties or rubber bands or stockings that you're willing to cut up.

While masks like these do not fully prevent infection, the CDC has started recommending wearing face-masks if you have to go out in public.
