We'll be discussing Washington Irving's Knickerbocker's History of New York, it's available as an e-book on Hoopla.

This satirical look at old New York launched Washington Irving's career. With much creative license around the facts, Irving gives us a comical look at Dutch New York from the "historian" Diedrich Knickerbocker's point of view.
