Lee Miller: From Muse to Artist

Lee Miller was an American photographer who transgressed the boundaries of her gender, beauty or age. She started her career as a fashion model and muse to several of the Surrealists, to become an actor, a photographer, and one of the most prominent war correspondents during WWII. While her work has been long ignored by the art establishment, it recently came to the spotlight in the series of exhibitions held by the most important art institutions around the world.
