Event Details

Local History librarian Joe Barbieri will demonstrate using the historic newspapers portion of the Hudson River Valley Heritage website. Learn how to search, save, and even help edit the transcriptions of Hudson Valley newspapers from the 19th century to modern times. This program will be in-person at the New City Library and also be presented online via Zoom. If you'd like to attend via Zoom, enter an email address and select "Online" from the "Would you like to attend in-person or online?" drop-down box when registering. A brief meeting of the Genealogical Society of Rockland County will take place after the program, non-members are always welcome to attend!
