Program Description
Event Details
In 1890, a pair of enterprising brothers attempted to build a winding gravity-powered tourist railroad that would take passengers on a primitive “roller coaster” ride that descended Dunderberg Mountain. This 3.5 mile hike includes a climb up the mountain and will take us to the railway tunnel that still remains in Harriman Park. Registration begins September 23rd. Call 845 634 4997 x123 to register and receive additional information.
