Nature artist John Henry Hill painted Buttermilk Falls in 1863 declaring it was “The most elaborately literal study from nature I ever made.” Learn more about the talented Hill family of West Nyack on this short (1 mile) but very vertical hike. Our route will take us on rugged trails with changes in elevation, all participants will sign an activity waiver prior to the hike. Registration starts October 18 at 845-634-4997 x123. Receive additional instructions upon calling to register.
