Program Description

Genealogical Society of Rockland County meeting.

We’ve spent some time talking about the 1950 census already, but there are many interesting aspects of it we haven’t covered. What was the standard enumerators walking route? What happened if you were staying at a campground or YMCA? What portions of the census were considered temporary data and destroyed? Find out all of these and more at our next meeting with a video presentation from the National Archives and Record Administration. Please register at the New City Library’s calendar for this online meeting via Zoom, and receive a link upon registration.

Non-members always welcome to attend!
