Program Description

Event Details

Cliff Tisdell, artist and art historian, takes a look at birds and how they have been viewed by artists in both Eastern and Western cultures. Used as powerful symbols for a range of qualities, starting with the renaissance and moving on through modern art and cinema, our avian friends have an enormous impact on art.

This talk will be given in-person at the library and will also be streamed live on Zoom.
