Janet McCue & George Ellison, co-authors of Back of Beyond: A Horace Kephart Biography, will answer questions posed by Larry Luxenberg about this American travel writer and librarian whose advocacy led to the establishment of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.   McCue will also read selections from her book.  They will be joined by Libby Kephart Hargrave, great granddaughter of Horace and Laura Kephart, who will share her insights into Kephart’s complex family life.  This event is being co-sponsored by the Cornell Club of Rockland County.
